Here you can find articles for MMA fans, including the men’s and women’s UFC pound-for-pound rankings, the all-time MMA pound-for-pound ranking, and all-time UFC division rankings.

MMA rankings cannot be decided by fight records alone.
Prime dominance, level of opposition, quality of wins, technical completeness, and historical impact all play an important role in how fighters are evaluated.

The ranking articles on LUNAPOLIOS can be divided into two main types.

The first type is based on official UFC rankings.
The men’s UFC pound-for-pound ranking TOP 10 and women’s UFC pound-for-pound ranking TOP 10 are based on the current rankings published on the official UFC website.

The second type includes my own personal opinions and analysis.
The all-time MMA pound-for-pound ranking and the all-time UFC division rankings are not official rankings. They are created based on each fighter’s achievements, prime strength, level of opposition, fight content, technical completeness, and overall impact.

※Even in articles based on official UFC rankings, the comments, evaluation points, and fighter analysis include my personal opinions. For the latest official rankings, please also check the official UFC website.

How to Look at MMA Rankings

When looking at MMA rankings, it becomes more interesting to consider not only wins and losses, but also factors such as:

  • How dominant the fighter was in their prime
  • Level of opposition
  • Number of title defenses
  • Achievements across multiple divisions
  • Overall skill in striking, wrestling, and grappling
  • Quality of wins
  • Historical impact
  • Depth of the division
  • Injuries and long periods of inactivity
  • Adaptability to modern MMA

Especially in all-time rankings, simple comparisons are difficult because the level of competition, rules, and fight environments differ depending on the era.

That is exactly why MMA rankings often divide opinions among fans, and why they are such an interesting topic to discuss.

Final Thoughts

On LUNAPOLIOS, I am gradually organizing and updating articles for MMA and UFC fans, mainly focused on ranking-style content.

For articles based on official rankings, I try to follow the current rankings as closely as possible.
For all-time rankings and division rankings, I include my own perspective while considering each fighter’s achievements, prime strength, level of opposition, fight content, and technical completeness.

Rankings will always include some level of subjectivity, but I try to create them while carefully considering each fighter’s legacy and overall value.

I hope this page helps MMA fans find articles they enjoy.
