Who do you think is the strongest character in BLEACH?
I wrote down characters I personally think are strong as ranking.
Including conditions below
- chose ones considered strongest term and form through all the series
- chose ones whose battle scene is not described but their power is suggested
1 Ichigo Kurosaki (after training in dangai)

- Height：181cm
- Weight：66kg
- Shikai：Zangetsu
Looks big blade, has no release command and is zanpakuto which is always shikai form. It can shoot the slash wave letting the blade absorb his spiritual pressure (getsugatennsho). - Bankai：Tensazangetsu
Once he activates it it’s changed into like black Japanese sword form and he himself is put black cloths (shihakusho). The ability is simply to strengthen the attack power and the speed but it’s stably strong bankai.
Main character. Orange hair is distinctive. He was high school student but he became deputy soul reaper after receiving the power of soul reaper from Rukia Kuchiki. Although we think he was originally the general human, the truth was revealed later that his father was soul reaper and also his mother was quincy (additionally has hollow substance with comolicated story), which means that he was rare existence mixed with soul reaper, quincy and hollow.
Personally his strongest form through all the series where his various forms appeared is the form after training in dangai. This is the form he got by training for 2,000 hours to defeat Aizen Sosuke. His zanpakuto fused with his right arm is distinctive. Its strongest point is the enormous spiritual pressure. Strength and Spiritual pressure of Aizen of this period was top level through all the series but Ichigo overwhelms Aizen. Allies with Ichigo couldn’t feel any spiritual pressure of Aizen because Aizen’s spiritual pressure level was far stronger than them. Thus if the gap of spiritual pressure is far big compared to the opponent one can’t feel any spiritual pressure of the opponent. Even Aizen couldn’t feel any spiritual pressure from Ichigo, which means Ichigo’s strength was far bigger than Aizen. “Final getsuga tensho” mugetsu the black slash wave is very strong and Aizen couldn’t resist it at all to get almost dying.
The form in the thousand year blood war arc is also said to be the strongest as well as above. I guess every other characters abilility may have no effect to this Ichigo after training in dangai with his spiritual pressure since spiritual pressure of YHWACH written below was even perceived.
2 Genryusai Yamamoto (a thousand year ago)

- Shikai：All things in universe turn to ashes Ryujinjakka
Normally it’s the cane form but once it’s released it turns into the blade and is surrounded with a large amount of flame. It’s the strongest and the oldest flame type zanpakuto. The attack power is far storonger than the general bankai power. - 卍解：Zankanotachi
It becomes the burned blade all the flame being absorbed into the blade. It has east/west/south/north 4 variations of attack and defence form, which can may cause the collapse of the soul society itself. It deserves the strongest zanpakuto since he defeated YHWACH a thousand year ago.
The soul reaper former the captain of 1 squad and general captain in the thirteen court guard squads. He is very old compared to other spul reapers. Although he is short, he has strong body and he was in charge of the general captain and he says any soul reapers stronger than him have never appeared.
He won against YHWACH a thousand year ago. At those days he was cruel and had no hesitation to release his all power to defeat enemies, so I guess this Genryusai is almost invincible.
3 YHWACH

- The epithet：A The Almighty
He can see the future and change the result. Almost all of attack and ability has no effect to him.
He is the founder of quincy and the boss of the thousand year blood war arc. His black long hair is distinctive. He is cruel. Despite the quincies he doesn’t have hesitation to discard them if needed.
He defeated many soul reapers using his cheat ability. He also has the ability to steal the power of any quincies and he even defeated many quincies despite his allies. Except Genryusai of a thousand year ago, almost all ones didn’t have any means to resist him. He was defeated by multiple cooperation at the end of the story but it’s almost imposseible to defeat him in the single battle.
4 Ichibe Hyosube

- Shikai：Blacken Ichimonji
Normally it’s the big writing brush form and once it’s released the brush edge turned into sharp blade. All stuff painted by the black ink from this blade edge loses the name and power and is forced into being under his control. - Bankai：Shirafudeichimonji
The white ink from the blade edge can write the name and give the stuff whose name is written the same property and power.
He is the soul reaper and like the captain of squad 0 also called osho. His distinctive is big rosary put on around his neck and his big beard. He has existed before the birth of the soul society and given every stuff in the soul society, so he knows everything in the soul society and he can be called the founder of soul reapers. Normally he is charming and bright but he looks so scary when fighting seriously.
He was defeated by YHWACH his abbility being captured.
5 Sosuke Aizen (awaken hogyoku form)

- Weight：74kg
- Shikai：Shatter Kyokasuigetsu
Looks noral sword and has no change of the appearance after he releases. If ones see his release even once their every senses can be controled by him. He can have them see the fly as the dragon and the swanmpland as the flower garden.
The soul reaper former the captain of 5 squad in the thirteen court guard squads. He is the boss of the arrancar arc. He was calm and gentle man but after betraying the soul society his real personality appeared. After his betrayal his tone is soft but includes the despise to others and once he thinks someone is done to him he discards it. His purpose is to become the top of the spiritual world and fight mainly against soul reapers including Ichigo.
He has top level of the spiritual pressure through all the series and proved his strength with his smart brain and kyokasuigetsu. Almost all of soul reapers have already seen its release, so those who had possibility to win against him were limited.
He was virtually defeated by Ichigo after training in dangai and YHWACH. Gin Ichimaru only knowing how to escape from kyokasuigetsu also virtually defeated once (Aizen was revived soon though…) but it caused Aizen to awaken the hogyoku and it got more powerful when he fought against Ichigo after training in dangai. I think Aizen of this moment is the strongest in all his forms.
6 Lille Barro

- The epithet：X The X-Axis
It has the ability to pierce every syuff on his big rifle’s shoo line. It’s not shooting bullets but just piercing everything, so there is no concept of defence against it. It can be used not only with attack but with defence, which means every attacks from opponents pierce him (no effevt to him). It’s very strong ability.
He is like the captain of the Schutzstaffel chosen from the Sternritter the elite troop of quincies. He is very confident nut-brown man and his X mark on his closed left eye is distinctive. He is said to be the first quincy to be given the power from YHWACH and calls himself Majesty’s best masterpiece and the man nearest to god. He is very strong with that name.
In the thousand year blood war arc he cornered Shunsui Kyoraku and Nanao Ise but he was virtually defeated by the special weapon hakkyoken. If someone has special power like this no one basically has no chance to defeat him.
7 Jugram Haschwalth

- The epithet：B The Balance
It has the ability to give someone having good luck his bad luck when he gets bad luck. He can give his damage as bad luck to him to the opponent. With his weapon sacrifice shield his bad luck like damage he gets can be applied to the opponent, so adding it to the abilityof The Balance he can reply his damage as twice to the opponent.
He is the grand master of the Sternritter the elite troop of quincies, which means he is the virtual No.2 of quincies. He is the man with blond hair who doesn’t express his feeling much. He can use the part of the ability of YHWACH. He cornered Uryu Ishida receiving epithet A but he got almost dying by YHWACH’s stealing power.
8 Gerard Valkyrie

- The epithet：M The Miracle
He can change the damage into the gain of god size, which means once he gets some damages his body gets big in proportion to the size of them. Every time he gets some damages he gets big and his damage recovers. Even though he gets big his speed doesn’t lost.
He is the member of the Schutzstaffel chosen from the Sternritter the elite troop of quincies. He has muscular body, blade and shield. He the man liking to fight. He calls himself the biggest・the strongest・the fastest quincy.
He looked defeated by Kenpachi and Toshiro but he revived with his ability. He was so persistent (almost immortal). In the end he was defeated by the stealing power of YHWACH.
9 Toshiro Hitsugaya (completed bankai mode)

- Shikai：Reign over the frosted heavens Hyorinmaru
The strongest ice type zanpakuto. It generates the ice dragon which can freeze the stuff it touches and attack the opponent. - Bankai：Daigurenhyorinmaru
He is surrounded with the ice dragon and generates the ice flower crystal behind his back. Basically it simply strengthens the ability of shikai but when all the flowers shatters the bankai is completed and he gets older. In this form the ability improved more and all function of the stuff it touches.
The soul reaper the captain of 10 squad in the thirteen court guard squads. He is small soul reaper with silver hair. He became the youngest captain ever. He is cool and ordinary person. This form above is seen only in the fight against Gerard but his potential power is huge. He couldn’t defeat Gerard completely but he proved his potential much.
10 Kenpachi Zaraki

- Shikai：Drink Nozarashi
It is normally the ragged blade but once it’s released it turned into the big axe blade form. It is powerful so that it can cut even the meteor.
The soul reaper the captain of 11 squad in the thirteen court guard squads. He became the captain by defeating the previous captain. He has a bandage on his right eye and 11 tied hair. He always likes to fight.
He potentially has the huge spiritual pressure and adjusted his spiritual pressure unconsciously depending on the opponent’s power but after fighting against Unohana he finally learns shikai. He seems to have activated a kind of bankai power but his body couldn’t endure the power of bankai.
